Process flow of spray granulation dryer
Spray granulation dryer is a kind of drying equipment that produces products after meeting the particle size requirements through fluidization, dust removal, atomization, solidification and other treatment of materials. Generally, the process flow is that the air enters the bottom of the fluidized bed after being heated by the heater, and contacts the materials through the distribution plate, so that the materials are fluidized. The pressure spray granulation dryer is mainly composed of feeding system, drying system, dust removal system, heating system and electrical system, and each system includes some related equipment. The feeding system is composed of mixing drum, filter, diaphragm pump and spray gun. The milled secondary slurry is transferred from the ball mill to the mixing drum, pumped and transmitted by the diaphragm pump through the filter, and then enters the drying tower through the spray gun. The slurry enters the drying tower from the spray gun nozzle to start the spray granulation drying process.
The slurry is atomized. The slurry is pressed into the drying tower from the nozzle by the diaphragm pump in the feeding system at a certain pressure. The energy of the pressure is converted into kinetic energy. The slurry is sprayed from the nozzle from bottom to top to form a high-speed liquid film, which is then split into droplets. The droplet size produced by atomization is inversely proportional to the pressure, and the production capacity of the nozzle is directly proportional to the square of the pressure.
The fog particles are dried into balls, and the fog particles and hot air work in the form of mixed flow. The hot air enters the tower through the hot air distributor on the top cover. The hot air distributor generates a downward streamline air flow, and the fog droplets are sprayed into the hot air flow from bottom to top. The droplets are spherical due to the surface tension. At the same time, because the droplets have a large surface area, the water evaporates rapidly and dries, and finally shrinks to form dry spherical particles. The spherical granular powder formed gradually settles in the drying tower and is separated from the hot air. The funnel cavity at the lower part of the tower makes the granular material collect and discharge from the discharge port. The finer granular material and dry air are extracted by the exhaust fan connected to the funnel-shaped upper part and enter the dust removal system.
The drying system is composed of the blower, drying tower and exhaust fan that discharge the granular powder and deliver hot air to the drying tower. The dust removal system is composed of high standard cyclone separator, bag filter, centrifugal fan, etc. The exhaust fan will send the finer particles together with the dry air to the high standard cyclone separator. After effective separation, the finer particles enter the collection drum at the bottom of the separator for recycling, and the remaining waste gas containing a small amount of fine particles is sucked into the bag filter by the centrifugal fan for dust collection again, realizing the harmless treatment of the waste gas, and the final waste gas is discharged from the chimney. In addition, the heating system composed of electric heater and gas engine hot blast stove provides heating air for the drying tower. The electrical system composed of the electrical control cabinet and the on-site sensors installed at the air inlet and outlet to monitor the temperature monitors and controls the main links of the whole spray granulation dryer to ensure the normal operation of the whole equipment.
